I took my mom, myself, and my daughter to get different treatments done. When I called to make appointments for all of us we were told my and my daughter's treatment would be done at UIC hospital. We called UIC many times but we were not able to get hold of anyone. Mom needed an upper denture. So we had to wait for the insurance approval. About one month passed by no one from the office called. I decided to call and the office staff told me they needed more X-rays so insurance could approve it. I took Mom for the second time. They took more X-rays and told us to wait for the insurance. We waited another month and they told us mom was approved and we needed a third visit. We went to the office thinking that they were going to take Mom’s measurements for the denture. Dr. Shirali M. Patel came and started to show me Mom's mouth and said that she was not able to make Mom's dentures. I asked her why we were not told this at the first visit. Why did we have to come three times and find out that Dr didn't know what she was supposed to do? I got really mad and told her to give all the papers mom signed should be given back.
